Christmas Week Winter Weather Update #ARWX
Central Arkansas is under a Wind Chill Advisory for the upcoming Winter Weather event this Christmas Week. So far, the (Baron) weather forecast model is showing the bulk of the wintry precipitation will miss Hot Springs (although it could still spit a little frozen precipitation our way). The rain/snow/ice/sleet/freezing rain accumulations seem to miss Central Arkansas for anything that would be measurable. Road conditions forecast show slippery roads for Hot Springs at times, but the bulk of the freezing stuff missing us. Here’s a look at some graphics to show what to expect with this Winter Weather event.
The Upcoming Deep Freeze #ARWX
Here are a few graphics on the upcoming deep freeze across the country this week that show wind chill and snow chances. It looks like Central Arkansas is in for some potential ice or wintry mix. I’m going to post another update tomorrow once the weather forecast models have updated so I can give you a better picture at what to expect in Arkansas. Stay safe, stay warm, and avoid travel later this week if possible until the roads thaw out!
