The heat continues across the region today. Exercise caution when involved in outdoor activities.

There’s an Excessive Heat Warning in effect for much of Arkansas (pink) and a Heat Advisory in effect for other parts of the state (orange).

While we could have an occasional shower or thunderstorm, it seems the severe risk is outside of Central Arkansas this weekend. Nice to have a break from some of it!

Severe weather chances continue today. There is also a flood risk in Missouri.
