Tornado Watch and Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Garland County.


There are some showers and thunderstorms in Hot Springs. It’s not severe yet, but likely will be as the evening progresses onward.

We could have storms overnight with hail and tornado potentials across part of the state. We’re also under a Wind Advisory for today. This weekend and next week is still going to be COLD.


There’s a potential for severe weather late Thursday night or early Friday morning. I’ll continue to monitor it and see how it goes.
This weekend is also going to be COLD. My forecast system is showing lows of 10, but we could see single-digit lows here. I’ll update more on this weekend’s Weekly Wrap Up.

There’ll be plenty of rain and an occasional thunderstorm (likely not overly severe) across the state this afternoon and evening. If conditions worsen, I’ll update here.



Bad news. The winter weather advisory has been extended to include Garland County. The forecast models are alsp showing potential winter precipitation in Garland County throughout the morning.
Northwest Arkansas is under a Winter Weather Advisory. Hot Springs isn’t yet.
One forecast model is showing snow in Hot Springs tomorrow, but one of the most reliable models is containing it to up Northwest Arkansas.
