There’s a high chance of severe weather on Tuesday. The worst of it will likely stay in Louisiana, but Arkansas will likely still see its share of severe thunderstorms as well. As conditions worsen, I’ll update here.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for parts of Arkansas this evening. Here’s a look at the advisory map, plus a look at areas of low visibility. #ARWX

Here are a couple of graphics summarizing the weather for Arkansas over the weekend and early next week.
For this weekend (especially Saturday), the rain won’t be letting up, only getting a little stronger and seeing more of it.
There’s also a chance of severe weather on Tuesday. There was a chance for it on Monday as well, but the SPC has downgraded it. I’ll continue to monitor and update here when needed. I’ll also talk more about next week’s severe weather in tomorrow’s Weekly Wrap Up on my other weather blog.

There’s a Dense Fog Advisory. Visibility is down across Central Arkansas.

The major storms missed Hot Springs (some rain, lightning, and thunder did happen). It’ll still be damp and dreary the rest of the afternoon and evening, but we’ve been spared the brunt of it. Here’s a look at the Future Radar for this evening.

There is a storm potential for Arkansas on Tuesday. As it stands now, it seems Hot Springs will be spared the brunt of the severe weather activity. I’ll update here for severe weather updates on Tuesday.

It’s been a rainy Thanksgiving Day, but thankfully not too severe here yet! I’ll update this page if any severe weather occurs.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

There’s some light rain around the state this afternoon. The second map shows a look at the current high-res radar. The first map shows an update for the storm potential for Thanksgiving. Looks to be mostly heavy rain with a flooding potential and thunderstorms with the tornado potential shifting more toward Texas and Louisiana.
